BCR Hosting OCLC ILLiad Training

AURORA, CO, MARCH 28, 2002 — BCR and Atlas Systems, Inc. are jointly sponsoring training classes on the OCLC ILLiad software system at BCR's Aurora, Colorado, offices.

  • Advanced Staff Training
    This class is designed for the individual using the ILLiad system on a day-to-day basis. In addition to discussing the actual operation and features of the ILLiad system, this class provides interaction between participants on customizations to the ILLiad system and procedural changes that have been implemented to better utilize the features of the ILLiad system. This approach will allow participants to not only increase their working knowledge of the ILLiad system, but will also provide knowledge that will help increase the efficiency of an ILLiad implementation.

    Date: Monday, April 15, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
    Cost: $250 per participant

  • ILLiad Administrator Training
    This class is designed for individuals at each site who are in charge of implementing and maintaining the OCLC ILLiad system. The training focus is on instilling a deeper understanding of the various components of ILLiad and how they interact. This includes discussion on the SQL server functionality, as well as, internal ILLiad software functionality. In addition, attendees will learn about the various options available when customizing ILLiad and how to implement these customizations.

    Date: Tuesday, April 16, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
    Cost: $450 per participant
