OCLC and AMIGOS Bibliographic Council have announced the discontinuance of their joint Collection Analysis Systems products. OCLC stopped producing the CACD in December 1998 for a number of reasons, including that the software is not Y2K compliant and other development priorities at OCLC that superseded updating a product with a limited market.
