Beginning with the July/August 1999 issue, The Third Indicator, BCR's technical memorandum, will be published mainly in electronic format. The electronic version of The Third Indicator has been available on BCR's web site beginning with the January/ February 1998 issue. Online readers are able to access, read and print each issue several weeks before the paper version is printed and mailed to subscribers.

BCR will continue to make the electronic version available at no charge to all member libraries. As each issue is published on BCR's web site, an announcement will be made on BCR-L, BCR's electronic mailing list. You can subscribe to BCR-L on BCR's web site or send an e-mail message to majordomo@bcr.org. Leave the subject line blank and type subscribe bcr-l in the body of the message.

Libraries that wish to continue receiving The Third Indicator in paper format will be charged $30 for an annual subscription of six issues beginning with the July/August 1999 issue. The fee for a single issue will be $6. If you want to continue your library's subscription to the paper version of The Third Indicator, please notify BCR's Jan Campau by May 31, 1999, of the number of copies you want mailed to you. The $30 annual fee will be automatically added to your BCR services invoice dated July 31, 1999.
