New BCR Officers Selected The BCR Board of Trustees at its May meeting elected officers and members for the BCR Executive Committee for FY 1999-2000. Duane Johnson, Kansas state librarian, was reelected president of the Board. Christie Brandau, assistant state librarian for the State Library of Iowa, is vice president. The two will join David Brunell, BCR executive director and treasurer of the Board, as Board officers. The officers are members of the Executive Committee, along with Kenneth Luker, assistant director of technical services at Utah State University's Marriott Library, and Pamela Drayson, director of library services at Kansas City Kansas Community College. New Board members, officers and the Executive Committee officially took office on July 1, the first day of BCR's new fiscal year. Their first Board meeting of the new year is scheduled for September 24 at BCR's Aurora (Colorado) offices.
