New BCR Workshop Schedule Mailed BCR member libraries should now have the latest BCR Workshop Schedule. The booklet, which details workshops BCR trainers are providing from September 1999 through May 2000, was mailed to member libraries in late August. Workshops have been scheduled in all BCR's seven member states Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. Please pay particular attention to BCR's growing list of online, distance education workshops. Trainers have prepared three workshops, all of which are being posted on and presented from BCR's World Wide Web site. The workshops are: GPO Access, Internet-based Government Resources and Internet-based Legal, Medical and Consumer Self-help Resources. If you find that a class you would like to attend is not scheduled in your area, give us a call. If enough people from your library want to attend, a consulting workshop can be arranged at your library, often at substantial savings. A registration form, located in the back of the Workshop Schedule, may be photocopied as needed and mailed or faxed to (303) 751-9787.
