New Officers Named

The BCR Board of Trustees at its May meeting elected officers and members for the BCR Executive Committee for FY 2000-2001.

Richard Doyle, director of Library Services and Academic Computing at Stewart Memorial Library, Coe College, was elected president of the Board. Lesley Boughton, state librarian, Wyoming State Library, is vice president. The officers are members of the Executive Committee, along with Frances Clymer, librarian at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, McCracken Research Library (WY); Marilyn Mercado, associate dean of library services at Rod Library, University of Northern Iowa; Craig Neilson, information services manager, Utah State Library Division; and David Brunell, BCR executive director and treasurer.

New Board members, officers and the Executive Committee officially took office on July 1, the first day of BCR's new fiscal year. Their first Board meeting of the new year is scheduled for September 29.
