One Delegate to OCLC Users Council
(June 2000 Action for Libraries newsletter)

By Joyce Hillshafer

BCR member libraries elected five individuals to the BCR Board of Trustees and one delegate to represent BCR on the OCLC Users Council. The newly elected representatives will take office July 1, the beginning of BCR's fiscal year and will attend their first Board meeting in September.

BCR's newly elected trustees are:
  • Patti Bateman, Aurora (Colorado) Public Library, at-large trustee.
  • William Knott, Jefferson County (Colorado) Public Library, at-large trustee.
  • Sandra Barstow, University of Wyoming Libraries, research libraries trustee.
  • Richard Doyle, Coe College, Stewart Memorial Library, academic libraries trustee.
  • James Godsey, Council Bluffs (Iowa) Public Library, public libraries trustee.

All were elected for two-year terms, except Knott, who will serve a one-year term replacing Trustee Pamela Drayson, who resigned as she has accepted a position at a library outside a BCR member state. Doyle was elected to his second term on the Board.

Maggie Farrell, Montana State University, was elected as BCR delegate to the OCLC Users Council.
