BCR staff will attend the annual library conferences in Kansas and Montana in April.
Dave Brunell, executive director and Rosario Garza, manager of Bibliographic Systems &
Services, will represent BCR at the Kansas Library Tri-conference. Sponsored jointly by the
Kansas Library Association (KLA), Kansas Association of School Librarians (KASL) and
Kansas Association for Educational Communications and Technology (KAECT), the Kansas
scheduled for April 12-14 at the Century II Convention Center in Wichita. Brunell and Garza
will meet with Kansas librarians at the "BCR Network Update" Thursday, April 13, from
10:30-11:30 a.m. Please put the Update on your schedule. You will learn the latest news about
OCLC, FirstSearch, SilverPlatter and other reference services; learn what's new on the Internet
and World Wide Web; and find out what new hardware and software is of interest to libraries.
Ellen Fox, project manager for BCR's Research & Development, will represent BCR at the
Montana Library Association Conference April 26-29 in Billings. The "BCR Network Update"
will be presented on Thursday, April 27, from 2:45-4:15 p.m. p.m.
BCR will have a booth set up in the exhibit area at both conferences. Please stop by and pick up
information on how BCR can assist your library and chat with BCR's representatives who will
provide answers to all of your questions.
