Kansas City Safety Conference Set

The Kansas City Metropolitan Library & Information Network (KCMLIN), with the help
of the Ewing M. Kauffman Fund, is sponsoring the national Campus Crime Prevention
Programs two-day conference, "Crime Prevention, Safety and Security for Libraries."
The conference, scheduled for May 4-5 in Kansas City (Missouri), will address a broad
range of library safety and security issues. It is geared to library administrators and staff
and law enforcement and security officers.
Cost for the conference is $165 for KCMLIN members and $265 for nonmembers. For
