Member NewsJerry Krois, deputy state librarian, Wyoming State Library and an alternate on the BCR Board of Trustees, was elected vice president/president elect of the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASCLA), a division of ALA. BCR member states Wyoming, Montana, Kansas and Iowa are among the top 10 states in the country in terms of "technology sophisticiation," according to a survey conducted by an independent educational research firm reported in Technology/Cybertimes on the Web. They lead the nation in the use of technology to connect classrooms and school media centers to the Internet.
