Nominations for the single opening for the BCR OCLC Users Council delegate election
are being accepted until January 26. Any BCR/OCLC general member may nominate a
candidate for the committee's consideration for the delegate position by submitting the
signature of one official voting representative and the written permission of the potential
nominee. You may fax the petition to BCR at (303) 751-9787.
The nominating committee also will develop a slate of candidates for the spring trustee
election. Suggestions are being accepted for the four positions open on the BCR Board
of Trustees, those of Marilyn Mercado and William Knott, both at-large trustees; Leroy
Gattin, processing centers and school libraries trustee; and Frances Clymer, special
libraries trustee.
Contact BCR's Joyce Hillshafer (jhillsha@bcr.org) if you would like to volunteer for
consideration for the Board of Trustees slate. She will pass the information on to the
nominating committee.
BCR members also may nominate a write-in candidate for the BCR Board who will
automatically be added to the election slate. Send the written permission of the nominee
plus signatures of 10 voting BCR members to BCR. Contact Hillshafer for a write-in
nomination form, which may be faxed to (303) 751-9787.
