New Libraries

Colorado — Highlands Ranch Library of the Douglas Public Library District held its grand opening in July at its new home, the first in the Town Center. Belmar Library, the newest branch of the Jefferson County Library system, opened in July as on eof the core features of Lakewood's City Common. The Carnegie library, Pikes Peak Library District, which is being restored, reopened to the public in June. Wilkinson Public Library in Telluride moved into its new building in August. Kraemer Family Library (University of Colorado at Colorado Springs) moved into a new facility in October.

Kansas — Johnson County Library in August opened its new Blue Valley Branch Library, its largest branch library. The Mary L. Gritten Library in Bird City moved to a new facility in September.
