in possible future sessions.)
BCR Offers Free Online
Workshop for K-12 Librarians
By Michael Sauers
BCR is offering a free online session for K-12 librarians of our Web Design I:
Introduction to HTML workshop. The workshop begins Monday, February 5 and runs
through Friday, February 23.
The online workshop will cover topics including an introduction to HTML, basic Web
page design and good coding practices. Each participant will have assigned readings and
quizzes, participate in an online discussion and end up with a working Web page.
Though this session is free for K-12 librarians, we encourage all library staff members
interested in learning HTML to register. Registration for the session must be received by
Friday, February 2. To register online, go to www.bcr.org/workshop/wkshp-gud.html.
Further details about the workshop, including technical requirements, are found on the
BCR Web site at www.bcr.org/~ids/DistLearn/wd1info.html.
