LexisNexis Enhances Databases
LexisNexis Academic & Library Solutions has announced a number of significant enhancements to its suite of products. Chief among the new features is providing users at colleges and universities with remote access to the LexisNexis suite of products (Academic Universe, Statistical Universe, Congressional Universe, State Capital Universe, Government Periodicals Universe and History Universe). Schools currently without proxy servers or remote access capability will get top priority in receiving this service.

In addition, more than 1,000 new titles were recently added to Academic Universe. New features include 400 full-text policy reports and white papers, 156 full-text and selected full-text journals and 482 international titles from the Global Newswire. Plans are under way to add 35 international legal publications by fall 2001.

Wilson Adds New Publisher Full Text Links Service
H.W. Wilson's new Publisher Full Text Links service provides seamless retrieval of full- text articles from select Academic Press journals. If the WilsonWeb user also subscribes to AP's IDEAL data server, there is no charge for the articles. Others will have the opportunity to purchase the full-text articles online. The first Wilson database to offer this service will be Applied Science & Technology Full Text. Other select Wilson databases will follow.
