Smith to Head Mississippi State Library

Iowa State Librarian Sharman Smith, a member of the BCR Board of Trustees, has been named executive director of the Mississippi Library Commission, Mississippi's state library agency. She will leave the State Library of Iowa in early July and is scheduled to begin her new position the beginning of August.
