Candidates Named for BCR Spring ElectionBy Joyce HillshaferThe seven-member BCR Nominating Committee 2001 has adopted slates of candidates for both the BCR Board of Trustees and OCLC Users Council delegate elections this spring. Three candidates are competing for the single position open in the BCR OCLC Users Council delegate election. Nine candidates are running for four seats in the BCR Board of Trustees election. Information about the BCR OCLC Users Council delegate election can be found on BCR's Web site at www.bcr.org/~jhillsha/uc/. Libraries' designated voters may vote on the Web beginning March 11. The deadline for voting is April 23. The single delegate seat will be filled by one of the following candidates:
Richard Doyle (Incumbent), Coe College (Iowa) Information about the BCR Board of Trustees election can be found on the Web site at www.bcr.org/~jhillsha/bot/. Voting will begin on April 2. The deadline for Board of Trustees voting is May 4. Four seats on the Board of Trustees are up for election, one trustee each for special libraries and school libraries and processing centers and two at-large trustees.
