BCR Trainer Writes Manual
for Reference Librarians
Michael Sauers, BCR Internet trainer, has written a book, Using the Internet as a Reference Tool: A How-to-Do-It Manual for Librarians. The manual shows readers how to integrate the Internet into a library's day-to-day reference services. Sauers provides explanations of available tools and methods to evaluate Web sites. He also includes his own list of Web sites he finds useful for answering reference questions.
The how-to Internet reference manual is published by Neal-Schuman Publishers,
Inc. and is scheduled to be available in June. The book can be
ordered now on the Neal-Schuman Publishers Web site:
