Free LexisNexis Advanced Training Set

A free training session on all LexisNexis Universe products is scheduled for BCR members on November 14, at the Aurora, Colorado, offices. The sessions will cover LexisNexis Congressional Universe, LexisNexis Academic Universe, LexisNexis Statistical Universe, as well as demonstrations of some of the newer products including History Universe, Current Issues Universe and Government Periodicals Universe.

The instructor will review basic and advanced search techniques, including fielded searching and new additions to the databases. Please feel free to attend all or part of the sessions.

Kelly Peterson, MLS, information professional training consultant for LexisNexis Academic & Library Solutions, will conduct the training. Users are encouraged to bring sample research questions to the session.
