NetLibrary eBook Tool Kit Introduced
NetLibrary's new eBook Tool Kit is now available free to current netLibrary users. The tool kit is designed to help librarians make the most of their electronic book collections by providing a variety of communication and promotional tools. Included is a new line of Quick Start Guides, library posters, a screen saver, bookmarks, window clings and balloons along with sample display materials and a CD-ROM tutorial. The CD-ROM provides an introduction and orientation to netLibrary's Tool Kit Web site and assists in training staff and patrons how to access and use the netLibrary eBook collection and increase electronic book circulation by integrating eBook MARC records.

If you are a netLibrary customer, your library should have received the Tool Kit launch package. If you have not yet received your Tool Kit box, contact netLibrary at: toolkitsupport@netlibrary.com or visit www.eBookToolKit.com.

SilverPlatter Information Database News
PsycARTICLES, a new full-text database for basic, applied, clinical and theoretical psychology will be available in October. With more than 42 journals and 25,000 fully searchable articles and contents for more than 500 biomedical and nursing e-journals, this is a complete searching system for psychology researchers.

Links to PsycARTICLES initially will be available as a component of a PsycINFO subscription at an additional charge; however, stand-alone subscriptions should be available in the near future.

An Internet version of Wilson Biological & Agricultural Index has been enhanced to include full-text and full-page PDFs. Current users of the Internet version of this database have been automatically upgraded to the enhanced version.

SilverPlatter's SPORTDiscus updates are now issued monthly rather than quarterly. Additionally, the databases within SPORTDiscus have been merged to allow easier searching. This unique resource covers sports medicine, exercise psychology, fitness and physical education, biomechanics, training and coaching.

H.W. Wilson Products Update
H.W. Wilson recently released The Readers' Guide Retrospective: 1980-1982. This new database provides users with access to more than 100 years of citations from 512 leading U.S. magazines. Students, journalists, educators, historians, social scientists, writers, business researchers and others will find more than 2,500,000 articles that cover an entire century of popular magazine coverage and reflect America's evolving attitudes and culture.

The H.W. Wilson Company and Infotrieve have announced a partnership that will provide users of Wilson databases with copies of any document cited through Infotrieve Online. Starting this fall, the databases will include an icon linking to the Infotrieve site, where users can order articles and receive them by e-mail, fax, overnight courier or mail.

Also starting in fall 2001, WilsonWeb users will have access to Dun & Bradstreet's Company Lookup at the D&B Infolink Web site. An icon on Business Periodicals Index, Wilson Business Full Text, Wilson Business Abstracts, Omnifile Full Text, Index to Legal Periodicals & Books and Applied Science & Technology Index links users to the D&B Web site. Users can then select from a wide range of D&B reports offering up-to- date information about a company and its background on a pay-per-view basis.

For questions or to subscribe to any reference database, contact BCR's Jim Hensinger (jhensing@bcr.org) or Karen Graham (kgraham@bcr.org).
