In Reference...By Brandie BaumannGrolier Online and Britannica Reference Database Renewals The annual renewal and sign-up period for BCR's Britannica Online products started in March. All subscriptions expire on May 31, 2002, and both current subscribers and new subscribers are required to submit a Web order form to access the service after June 1. In addition, Britannica has announced major changes in its products. Not only is the popular Britannica Online database available, but 150 full-text e-journals and e- magazines have been added. For a complete run-down of new products or information on any of the popular existing databases, go to BCR's Web site at www.bcr.org/, click on Reference Databases and then on Britannica. Libraries must opt-in to renew their access for both Grolier and Britannica on an annual basis. A newly designed Web order form ( www.bcr.org/~ids/Reference/Britannica/Britannica-Form.html) makes renewing even easier. For a complete list of the Grolier titles available, go to the BCR Web site at www.bcr.org/. Click on Reference Databases, then Grolier. Regardless of the database service selected, the order form will automatically calculate your costs. And, although it is not necessary to complete and submit the order form to estimate costs, you must complete and submit the Web order form if you are continuing your subscription, transferring a direct account to BCR or are a new subscriber.
OCLC FirstSearch ECO Adds Journals OCLC also has added 15 new titles to the FirstSearch ECO family from Henry Stewart Publications, LTD., in the subject areas of management, marketing, public affairs and bioinfomatics. LexisNexis Academic Universe Subscribers Need This Mailing List
