Free LexisNexis Advanced Training
to Be Offered This Fall at BCR

A free training session on all LexisNexis Universe products is scheduled for member libraries on October 1, at BCR's Aurora, Colorado, offices. The sessions will cover LexisNexis Congressional Universe, LexisNexis Academic Universe and LexisNexis Statistical Universe, as well as provide demonstrations on some of the newer LexisNexis products including History Universe, Current Issues Universe, Environmental Universe, Scholastic Universe and Media Analyzer.

Those attending will review basic search techniques, plus learn more advanced search techniques including field searching. Recent changes to the databases will also be covered. Participants should feel free to attend all or part of the sessions.

Kelly Peterson, MLS, information professional training consultant for LexisNexis Academic & Library Solutions, will conduct the training. Users are encouraged to bring sample research questions to the session.
