BCR has expanded its group subscription of the Roth Publishing family of literature
databases. BCR now offers Roth's Lit Finder databases Poem Finder, Story Finder,

period for BCR's Roth group subscription began February 1. The annual subscription
runs from April 1 to March 30.
Poem Finder (including Story Finder and Essay Finder) is designed for use in both public
and academic libraries. Poem Finder is international in scope with poetry from antiquity
to the present, including thousands of current, copyrighted poems.
The database provides:
- More than 100,000 full-text poems.
- 800,000 poem citations and excerpts.
- Subject Navigator.
- Kids' Korner.
- Year's Best Poetry anthology.
- Explanations, biographies and pictures.
Story Finder, a companion database, provides full-text short stories, explanations,
biographies and pictures, Genre Navigator and Just Published Stories.
Essay Finder will be added in April as the latest companion database. It will provide
full-text essays in the areas of literary criticism, biographies, art, music, science and
history.
The World's Best Poetry Online is designed for use in K-12 school libraries. It contains
more than 100,000 full-text poems from antiquity to the present including the complete
works of major classic poets plus contemporary poetry. Also included are a glossary of
poetic terms, biographical and critical essays and study guides as well as in-depth
analysis of more than 1,000 poems. The Roth editorial staff and advisory board selected
the material to ensure curriculum needs are met.
Story Finder and Essay Finder may be purchased as add-on modules to The World's Best
