Secure Access to BCR Invoices
on the Web Coming Soon
Staff from BCR member libraries will soon be able to obtain their libraries' accounting
information and history via secure access on BCR's Web site. The information will be
accessible from TravWeb, an Internet-enabled application that works in conjunction with
BCR's accounting software. TravWeb was developed by Adaptive Business Solutions in
cooperation with BCR and other OCLC library networks.
TravWeb will allow BCR members to view their libraries' account status, print invoices
and research account history in real time using a Web browser. To ensure that entry into
each library's account is secure, access will require a user name and password, which
will be set up by BCR accounting staff. TravWeb is compatible with Internet Explorer
5.0 or later (recommended) as well as Netscape Navigator 6.0 or later.
BCR staff members are currently testing the functionality of TravWeb. Requests from
libraries for account access, however, are currently being accepted.
To request a user name and password for TravWeb, please fill out the form at
www.bcr.org/~business/travweb/travform.html. As soon as TravWeb
testing is completed, BCR members who have submitted an account request form will
receive an e-mail message with the access point URL, user name and password.
Announcements of TravWeb's availability will also be posted in the "What's New" section
on BCR's Web site, on BCR-L (BCR's e-mail list) and in an upcoming issue of Action for
Libraries.
More information about TravWeb is available by contacting Darrell Vigil, assistant
Business Office manager, at (303) 751-6277, ext. 129, toll free at (800) 397-1552 or by
e-mail at dvigil@bcr.org.
