BCR Members Focus on the Future of WorldCat
A small group of directors and librarians from libraries throughout the BCR region gathered as a focus group last month at BCR's Aurora, Colorado, offices to talk with OCLC staff about the future direction of WorldCat. The group discussed a potential new interface to WorldCat — which OCLC is even now developing — that would provide a library destination portal accessible to anyone with Web access. The interface is in keeping with OCLC's strategy of "weaving libraries into the Web." The group — (from left) John H.
