Lit Finder Renewal/Enrollment Cycle Begins

It's time for renewals and new sign-ups to BCR's annual subscription to Roth Publishing's family of literature databases. BCR's annual subscription runs April 1 through March 31. The last day current subscribers can renew is March 31. Patrons may suffer interrupted access if subscribing libraries fail to renew by that time, so current subscribers are encouraged to renew early.

BCR members who are not now Lit Finder subscribers are invited to take part in a month-long free trial. Fill out the BCR Lit Finder trial form to obtain a user name and password at www.bcr.org/reference/Roth/Roth-Trial-Form.html. These are valid from March 1 through the end of the month. A review of Lit Finder in the November 2002 issue of Booklist describes the product as "a time-saver for students and the general public. Lit Finder is a good choice for academic, public and school libraries."

Lit Finder includes Poem Finder, Story Finder, Essay Finder and The World's Best Poetry Online (K-12 poetry version). Roth will be adding more modules in 2003 including Speech Finder and Play Finder. Pricing and availability will be announced in Action for Libraries and on BCR-L.
