New Faces, Voices Greet BCR Visitors | |
|
Two new employees have joined the staff at BCR. Lindsay Nichols and Barbara Gallegos came to work for the library network in October, both as part-time receptionists. They replace Bettie Van Zetten, who retired last summer after more than 20 years at BCR. The two new employees staff BCR's reception desk, Gallegos in the mornings and Nichols in the afternoons. They are responsible for answering phones, greeting visitors, processing outgoing mail and distributing incoming mail. They also make travel arrangements for trustees and help maintain the database of BCR's member libraries. Nichols currently is a student at Metropolitan State College of Denver, where she is majoring in history. Before coming to BCR she worked at Summit Imaging in Englewood, Terracon in Wheat Ridge and the Jefferson County (Colorado) Public Library. Before joining BCR, Gallegos was employed as an administrative assistant at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. |
