Board Elects Officers for FY 2003-2004

The BCR Board of Trustees has elected officers for the new fiscal year (July 1, 2003-June 30, 2004). Lesley Boughton, state librarian for the Wyoming State Library, will continue in her role as president of the Board for a second year. Karen Strege, state librarian for the Montana State Library, was elected the new vice president.

Besides officiating over Board meetings, the two are members of BCR's 2003-2004 Executive Committee, along with Emily Navarre, Southeastern (Iowa) Library Services; Cynthia Berner Harris, Wichita (Kansas)Public Library; Stephen Rollins, University of Alaska Anchorage; and David Brunell, BCR executive director and Board treasurer.

The BCR Board of Trustees will meet for the first time this fiscal year on September 26. Future Board meetings are scheduled for December 5, 2003; February 13, 2004; and May 14, 2004.
