Tim Littlejohn, branch manager of Waialua Public Library, was selected 2002 Public Librarian of the Year for the Hawaii State Public Library System by the Hawaii Library Foundation.

Rick Forsman, director of the Denison Memorial Library at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, has been asked by the publisher of the New England Journal of Medicine to join a new Academic Library Advisory Board.
