BCR Database Renewal Deadlines Approaching
Many of BCR's reference database products are coming up for renewal in May. Deadlines for the following products are:

  • Britannica Online Products — May 31, 2003, for all new and renewing subscribers. The subscription year is June 1 through May 31. All users must complete a new subscription form.   • LexisNexis Products — May 15, 2003, for all new and renewing users. All BCR LexisNexis subscriptions expire concurrently on June 30, 2003. Any orders received between May 16 and June 15 will have a start date of August 1. Libraries must opt-in to renew their access.   • McGraw-Hill AccessScience — May 15, 2003, for all new and renewing users. All subscriptions expire concurrently on June 30, 2003. Libraries must opt-in to renew their access. Grove Jazz Now Available Online
The New Grove Dictionary of Jazz, second edition, has been integrated into The Grove Dictionary of Music Online. Subscribers to the Grove Dictionary of Music Online now have access to the largest, most comprehensive and accurate reference work on jazz ever published.

A subscription to the New Grove Dictionary of Music Online (TNGII) now includes:
  • More than 7,500 articles written by hundreds of the world's leading jazz authorities.

  • Discographies in most of the Jazz biographical articles.

  • The ability to identify Jazz articles by the purple detailing on the article view page as well as search results that are identified with a Jazz icon (e.g., a search for Dizzy Gillespie will bring up two results, one from TNGII and one from Jazz, identified by a purple icon).
