New: BCR Free Trial, Discount Pricing
for Gold Rush E-management Service
By Ellen Fox
BCR is providing a free trial and group purchase of the newest version of Gold Rush, the
electronic resources discovery and management service developed by the Colorado
Alliance of Research Libraries. The trial begins August 1 and will run for 45 days. BCR
libraries can sign up at www.bcr.org/trials/goldrush.html.
Gold Rush is an electronic resource and discovery service developed to help libraries
manage subscriptions to electronic resources and provide improved public access for
their electronic journals and databases. Gold Rush is a Web-based digital registry of
databases and electronic journals (both stand-alone and titles embedded within
aggregated services). The service is centrally maintained and requires no programming
or technical expertise at participating libraries.
