BCR Board Elects OfficersNew officers will steer the BCR Board of Trustees for FY 2004-2005. At its May meeting, the Board elected Stephen Rollins, dean, Consortium Library, University of Alaska Anchorage, as Board president. Karen Strege, state librarian from Montana, was reelected to a second term as vice president. In addition to officiating at Board meetings, the two will serve on the BCR Executive Committee. Newly elected to BCR's 2004-2005 Executive Committee are Sandra Barstow, assistant dean for admin and finance, University of Wyoming Libraries, and Teresa Garrison, assistant director of libraries, Kansas City Kansas Public Schools/Kansas City Kansas Public Library. They join Emily Navarre, Southeastern (Iowa) Library Services, who continues in her seat from last year on the Executive Committee and David Brunell, BCR executive director and Board treasurer. Meetings of the BCR Board of Trustees scheduled for the 2004-2005 fiscal year are September 30-October 1, 2004; December 10, 2004; February 25, 2005, and May 20, 2005.
