LCCN Searching Changed for CatExpress Users
OCLC has made several changes in the way WorldCat is indexed. As a consequence, searching for Library of Congress Control Numbers (LCCNs) in the CatExpress interface's Basic Search function has changed.

CatExpress users now have to use the index label nl: before the LCCN for which they are searching in the Basic Search text box. LCCN searching in the Advanced Search function is unchanged. LCCN searching in other OCLC cataloging interfaces is also unchanged.

ILLiad Version 6.3.0.5 Available
ILLiad 6.3.0.5 is now available for download. This release includes four changes to the ILLiad Connector:

Connector will now leave incoming requests with no default shipping method blank, allowing Connector to check for Ariel tags.
Conditional notes import only if the request has never been updated to Awaiting Conditional Processing, eliminating duplicate notes.
Connector now includes a logging option to help with troubleshooting. (You'll want to turn this on only for troubleshooting to avoid having a very large log file.)
Improved interaction to avoid potential deadlocks.

There are no changes on the client side, so you do not need to schedule an upgrade. If you've opted for automatic upgrades, you're all set. Atlas will have upgraded your server by COB on June 9. If you haven't opted for automatic upgrades, please contact Atlas to schedule your upgrade.

Upgrade Now to Connexion Client 1.10
Attention Connexion client users. Have you upgraded to the latest version of Connexion client, version 1.10, released in March? OCLC discontinued version 1.00 on July 1. As of that date, you must use version 1.10 to log on.

You can check your version number by going to Help, About OCLC Connexion Client. The first line of the data should be "OCLC Connexion 1.1.1538.19587 2002-2004." Please see www.oclc.org/connexion/interface/client/enhancements/recent.htm for information about Connexion client 1.10 and to download the software.
