Library Journal has named a number of staff from BCR member libraries to its list of "Movers & Shakers 2004:"

Colorado: Cynthia Chadwick, Arapahoe Library District.
Oregon: Corey Harper, University of Oregon, and Eva Miller, Multnomah County Library.
Washington: Chance Hunt, Seattle Public Library, and Sally Lancaster, Everett Public Schools.
Kansas: Kimberly Martin, Bonner Springs City Library, and Dennis Wilson, Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library.

Faith Johnson, Susitna Elementary School Library, has been named 2004 School Librarian of the Year by the Alaska Association of School Librarians.
