The Montana State Library Commission has appointed Darlene Staffeldt to replace Karen Strege as Montana State Librarian. Staffeldt, who took on her new post in mid-October, has worked at the Montana State Library for 28 years in a variety of positions. As the new state librarian, Staffeldt will join the BCR Board of Trustees as a state agency trustee.
