BCR and Britannica Introduce
Discounts on Print Titles

By Laura Chittivej
BCR and Britannica are continuing their partnership this spring by expanding the services available as part of BCR's Britannica group subscription program. In addition to the start of the annual subscription renewal campaign, libraries may now purchase a number of print titles at discount prices.

Current subscribers will notice a slight increase in subscription prices for Britannica Online and Britannica Online School Edition. Except for a change in the minimum purchased required (now $250), pricing for Annals of American History Online, Enciclopedia Universal en Espanol, Webster's Third New International Dictionary Unabridged Online, World Data Analyst Online and Britannica's Original Sources remain at 2004-2005 levels. BCR's Britannica subscription period runs June 1 through May 31. Current Britannica subscribers are encouraged to renew prior to the May 31, deadline to ensure uninterrupted access for users.

Print titles now available at BCR's discount prices are 2005 Encyclopedia Britannica, 2005 Compton's by Britannica, My First Britannica, Discover America, Great Books of the Western World and Gran Enciclopedia Planeta. Current BCR Britannica subscribers may add the print titles to their access renewal. Member libraries not currently subscribing to Britannica may purchase the print titles only. Note that BCR Britannica group subscribers receive added savings on print material purchases. Below is a brief description of each print title.
