BCR Board Elects Officers
By Joyce Hillshafer At its May meeting, the Board reelected Stephen Rollins, dean of Consortium Library, University of Alaska Anchorage, as Board president. Brenda Bailey-Hainer, director of Networking and Resource Sharing, Colorado State Library, who was appointed last year to replace Karen Strege as vice president, this year was elected to that office. In addition to officiating at Board meetings, the two will serve on the BCR Executive Committee. Newly elected to BCR's 2005-2006 Executive Committee was Melisa Nicoud, librarian at the National Museum of Wildlife (Wyoming). The three will join Sandra Barstow, assistant dean for Administration and Finance, University of Wyoming Libraries, and Teresa Garrison, assistant director of libraries, Kansas City Kansas Public Schools/Kansas City Kansas Public Library, as members of the Executive Committee, along with David Brunell, BCR executive director and Board treasurer. Meetings of the BCR Board of Trustees scheduled for the 2005-2006 fiscal year are September 16, 2005; December 9, 2005; February 17, 2006; and May 12, 2006.
