Joyce Ogburn has been appointed the new director of the University of Utah's Marriott Library. Ogburn, who is leaving her associate director of library management post at the University of Washington, is scheduled to start in September.

Brenda Bailey-Hainer, director of Networking and Resource Sharing at the Colorado State Library, was honored with the President's Board Choice Award for 2005 by the Mountain Plains Library Association. She is vice president of the BCR Board of Trustees.
