Library Journal has named Trish Palluck — library specialist in the WYLD (Wyoming Libraries Database) office at the Wyoming State Library — paraprofessional of the year for 2005. Palluck celebrated her 26th anniversary at the state library in February.

Haines Borough (Alaska) Public Library was named the Best Small Library in America 2005 by Library Journal.
