McGraw-Hill's AccessMedicine Adds Title and Podcasts
Goodman & Gilman's, The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics, 11th Edition, has recently been added to the list of available titles in McGraw- Hill's AccessMedicine database. This new edition brings to eight the total number of titles currently available. Plus, 22 titles are available in the Lange Educational Library, and the AccessMedicine staff has plans to add eight more titles before the end of 2005. All additions are automatically available to current subscribers.

In addition to the various titles available online, AccessMedicine now also offers weekly podcasts. The podcasts will cover one of the following:

  • Harrison's Grand Rounds — audio lectures, from world-renowned academic physicians, addressing key medical topics in internal medicine.
  • Harrison's Updates — the latest, most important advances in medicine written by highly regarded academicians in the medical field.
  • Hurst's the Heart Updates — examinations and reviews of the most recent cardiology news from medical journals written by distinguished medical physicians.
