BCR Sponsors Free Downlinking/Webcasts
for College of DuPage Teleconferences

By Sharon Hoffhines
Staff at libraries in BCR's member states of Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming and at individual member libraries in other states can participate in the 2005-06 College of DuPage teleconference broadcasts. BCR, our member state libraries and CLiC (Colorado Library Consortium) have purchased an unlimited-site license providing downlinking of the satellite coordinates to the five College of DuPage teleconference programs at no charge to our member libraries. For staff unable to attend a downlink site, the webcasts of the teleconferences, which will be archived for 30 days following the live broadcast, are also included.

Register online for the satellite downlink or the webcast by completing BCR's online registration form at www.bcr.org/training/teleconferences/register.html. Also view the downlink site-license terms on BCR's Web site: www.bcr.org/training/teleconferences/terms.html. Those registered for the downlinking and/or the webcasts also are listed on the BCR Web site.
