Discount to New BCR Subscribers
By Lisa Holmberg
Libraries that start a new subscription to Morningstar.com Library Edition now receive one additional free
seat. Plus, they will continue to receive a free seat every time they renew. This discount is available to new
subscribers only through the end of the year.
Tailored for libraries, Morningstar Library Edition is an independent and reliable source of investment
information. Morningstar provides access to:
- Reports on more than 18,000 stocks and mutual funds.
- Exclusive Morningstar Ratings for stocks and funds.
Morningstar Library Edition also offers library users a number of unique powerful investment tools,
including:
- Various stock and fund screeners and the new Exchange-traded Fund Screener, which allow
users to narrow the field of stocks and funds to the investments that best meet their criteria.
- Portfolio X-Ray that provides library users with an understanding of the inner workings of their
portfolios and analyst reports that provide hundreds of up-to-date financial data points on nearly
18,000 stocks and funds.
Over the past year Morningstar has made some significant enhancements to its Library Edition, including
stewardship grades, ownership zones and easier access to analyst reports. With Morningstar, library users
are able to find a stock or mutual fund to meet their particular needs, research current or prospective
holdings and see how their investments fit together by using the portfolio feature.
