Expanded CQ Researcher Archive
Available at Special Discount Price
By Lisa Holmberg
CQ Press is now offering an expanded archive of its award-winning database, CQ Researcher Online, to BCR members at a special
discount. CQ Researcher is a thorough, unbiased explanation of the most critical events of the day. CQ Researcher Online Plus Archive
contains the complete Archive of Editorial Research Reports — the precursor to CQ Researcher — from 1923 to the present.
CQ Researcher Online Plus Archive is a Perpetual Electronic Ownership Rights (PEOR) product. For a one-time fee, participating institutions will own perpetual access to the archives of the CQ Researcher. This one-time fee grants permanent access to the archive, plus each new year's issues will be added to the institutional archive, provided the institution maintains an ongoing subscription. The renewal price is reduced upon receipt of a PEOR order.
If your library already owns perpetual electronic rights to CQ Researcher, you can add the expanded archive to your collection for an additionally reduced one-time fee.
The CQ Researcher Online Plus Archive offers users:
- An additional 3,000 reports, expanding CQ Researcher Online coverage back to 1923. This is not available to annual subscribers.
- Powerful search and browse functions including a linkable cumulative index.
- Expanded research features including the Issue Tracker, which helps users trace how issues have changed over the decades.
CQ Researcher Online Plus Archive became available starting in March. For a quote visit: www.bcr.org/reference/cqpress/cqrarchives.html. If you would like a trial or more information, contact BCR's Lisa Holmberg (lholmber@bcr.org.)
