BCR Board Elects Officers for New Year

The BCR Board of Trustees has elected officers for Fiscal Year 2006-2007.
At its May meeting, the Board elected Sandra Barstow, assistant dean for Administration and Finance, University of Wyoming Libraries, as Board president and Teresa Garrison, assistant director of libraries, Kansas City Kansas Public Schools/Kansas City Kansas Public Library, as vice president.
In addition to officiating at Board meetings, the two will serve on the BCR Executive Committee. Newly elected to BCR's 2006-2007 Executive Committee were Ann Joslin, Idaho state librarian, and Greg Cotton, technical services librarian at Cole Library, Cornell College (Iowa). They will join Melisa Nicoud, librarian, National Museum of Wildlife Art, and Brenda Bailey-Hainer, new BCR executive director and Board treasurer, on the Executive Committee.
Meetings of the BCR Board of Trustees scheduled for the 2006-2007 fiscal year are September 22, 2006; December 8, 2006; February 16, 2007; and May 11, 2007.
