BCR Trainer Presenting at Nevada Tech Conference

Next month, BCR Internet Trainer Michael Sauers will provide nine presentations and two workshops at the Nevada Library Institute's
2006 Technology Conference, "Nevada Meets the Web." Sauers will discuss the following:

- Using the Internet as a Reference Tool
- Tech Support on the Fly
- The Writing on the Walls: Wikis and the Power of the Collective
- Accessible & Maintainable Web Sites with CSS

- Making the Most of Your Browser: Firefox
- Moving from HTML to XHTML
- Introduction to Web Standards
- Teaching Technology to the Public
The 2006 Technology Conference is sponsored by the Nevada State Library and Archives (NSLA) and funded by the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) through the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
