BCR Price List Now Online, Subscription Packet Mailed

Directors of BCR member libraries from now on will have ready online access to BCR's annual Price List by just turning to the Web
browser on their computers. The Price List for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 is now posted on BCR's Web site; an up-to-date, password-protected version is available in PDF format. Just download your copy
to your desktop. Publishing the Price List online not only makes the booklet more readily available to you, our members, but also results
in significant savings, as BCR no longer must pay printing or mailing costs. That does not mean, however, that you shouldn't watch for
BCR's packet of information in the mail.
We have mailed a small packet of information concerning libraries' prepaid BCR subscriptions. A letter from Acting Executive Director Rosario Garza provides the username and password needed to access the online Price List. Instructions and forms for submitting your library's BCR subscription account payment for the 2006-2007 year are also included. By prepaying your subscription by the July 21 deadline, your library receives a 3.5 percent discount (based on an annual percentage rate) on products and services purchased from BCR over the next fiscal year (July 1, 2006-June 30, 2007).
In addition, your library will be awarded a BCR training voucher for every $10,000 prepaid by the July 21 deadline. Each voucher entitles one person on your staff to attend a BCR workshop at no charge during FY 2006-2007. We project BCR will award more than $130,000 in subscription prepayment discounts and free workshops (through the training vouchers) to our member libraries this year. The training vouchers can be used not only to attend BCR's in-person workshops, but also our online WebLive classes. If your institution has several vouchers available, they can be used to set up customized, on-site workshop sessions for your staff at your own library.
To qualify for the vouchers, however, your library's subscription payment must be received in BCR's office no later than July 21.
