Prepaid Subscriptions Due

July 27 is the deadline for libraries to submit their BCR annual prepaid subscriptions for Fiscal Year 2007-2008. By prepaying subscriptions by this deadline, libraries receive a 2.75 percent discount (based on annual percentage rate) on products and services they purchase from BCR over the next fiscal year (July 1, 2007- June 30, 2008). The discount is calculated each month, based on the closing deposit balance on account.

In addition, libraries that submit prepaid subscriptions are awarded one BCR training voucher for every $10,000 prepaid by the July 27 deadline. Each voucher entitles one library staff member to attend a one-day BCR workshop, either an in-person or online class, for free until June 30, 2008. Libraries that accumulate a number of training vouchers may use them to bring customized, on-site training directly to their staff.
