BCR 2005-2006 Annual Report Published
With the publication of the 2005-2006 Annual Report, Executive Director Brenda Bailey-Hainer recognized the "end of a significant era in BCR's history," in her letter to the membership. In the spring of 2006 David Brunell, Bailey-Hainer's predecessor, retired after 22 years as head of BCR.
The Annual Report focuses on a number of highlights for Brunell and his staff during the 2005-2006 fiscal year. Among them:
- Growth in voting members
- Expansion of both online and in-person training opportunities
- Expansion of online database offerings
- Continuation of special projects for such entities as the Western Council of State Libraries and the Kansas Regents institutions
- Continuing diversification of BCR products and services to better serve member libraries
- And more.
