Administrative Services and Business OfficeBCR's Administrative Services and the Business Office also had another busy and productive year. Administrative and fiscal processes were reexamined and simplified to improve efficiency. Business office personnel implemented a system to provide secure online access to library invoices and billing data, and several hundred libraries began to take advantage of this new free service. Administrative Services personnel guided the selection, configuration and installation of a new telephone system. Administrative Services and the Research and Development unit worked together in composing, executing and analyzing the BCR service improvement survey again this year. Hundreds of librarians participated in this effort, giving us thoughtful suggestions for improving BCR's existing services and great ideas for new ones. We have already begun implementing several service enhancements and investigating new products proposed by survey respondents. We want to thank everyone who helped in this effort to improve and expand BCR services. Next Article | Previous Article | Table of Contents | BCR Publications Comments to:
