BCR Sponsors Discount to NISO E-resources Workshop
The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) is hosting a 2.5 day workshop:
Managing Electronic Resources. BCR is cosponsoring the workshop, which will be held at the Magnolia Hotel, Denver, Colorado, September 28-30. Because of BCR's sponsorship, all BCR members are eligible to attend this workshop at the
NISO member price of $569 for the full 2.5 days. Single-day registration fee is $219 for members. Nonmember registration fees are $799 for the full workshop or $299 for a single day.
The workshop topics to be covered are as follows:
- Day 1: Understanding users and usage
- Day 2: Practical collection and repository management
- Day 3: Gluing systems together to make your collections accessible
