New Functionality Added to WorldCat and FirstSearch
OCLC staff installed new functionality and corrected bugs in the WorldCat Resource Sharing and FirstSearch systems on Sunday, August 6.
WorldCat Resource Sharing and Administrative Module
- Users can now link directly to the administrative module from WorldCat Resource Sharing to edit ILL settings.
- Persistence of Constant Data is now optional.
- Users now have the ability to link by ISSN to a local e-serials database to FirstSearch serials records and other print serial records.
- The administrative module has been rebranded "WorldCat Services Administrative Module," and the label linking to the “ILL Policies Directory” has been changed to “Policies Directory.”
